Dave at Eddie's Attic

Something happened in 2008. After playing guitar for many, many years, Dave re-discovered his passion for music. He started writing his own original tunes. He learned how to play harmonica to accompany his guitar playing. He started "playing out" at some of the numerous open mics around Atlanta. He worked at improving his playing, singing, and performing. Some might say he got a lot better. Most all would agree he still has a way to go.
 
So where is Dave going with this music thing? He has said from the beginning that making music should be fun, and if it's not fun, he's out of here. With that in mind, Dave often plays out using the name "Stationary Dave:"

"You've heard of the Traveling Wilburys, well I'm stationary. I'm probably not going anywhere!"

In 2007, Dave got himself set up to make basic recordings at home. Then he discovered several of the musical collaboration websites and joined together with other musicians to make a couple of recordings. It was a long and laborious process, but it yielded two "singles" that included players literally located around the globe.

"All I can say with any degree of confidence is that each recording I make sucks a little less."
